Who doesn’t like having plants at home? In addition to purifying the air and relaxing the environment, they are aesthetically beautiful and add a touch of color and freshness to our homes.

If you don’t have a garden, balcony or terrace, there are plants that   can be placed in glass vases filled with water .

This  technique, known as hydroponics, involves replacing the soil and its nutrients with water. To apply it you must follow the following steps after selecting the indicated plants.

  1. Remove the plant from the pot, being careful not to damage the roots.
  2. Place the plant in a container of temperate water overnight.
  3. Rinse the roots with plenty of water to completely remove the soil.
  4. Add some clay to the glass vase, then the plant, the water and finally a liquid fertilizer so that the roots can absorb all the nutrients.

Below we list some plants that are suitable for this type of cultivation.

Zebrina  . One of the most famous ornamental plants in the world, it can easily be grown in a vase filled with water.

False papyrus  . This plant is easy to grow and care for and easily adapts to hydroponic technology.

Potos  . This plant is one of the most common houseplants and adapts to many different climates.

Spathiphyllum  . It is wonderful for hydroponics and produces white flowers that are truly stunning.

Sage  . This aromatic plant can also be grown using the hydroponic method.

Lucky Bamboo  . This plant can be found everywhere and is sometimes marketed already in glass containers filled with water.
