There is no   flower more elegant and sophisticated   than the orchid. We are aware that it is very difficult to keep such a plant alive and thriving, but with a few tips and little tricks you can create something unique. For example, very few people know that with a simple ingredient an orchid will bloom ten times more than normal. Are you ready to find out how to do it and implement the system right away?  Here is the secret of the florists.

Orchid characteristics

A flower that  takes on many different colors thanks to its tropical origin  . It is not only an elegant plant, but also a beautiful and long-lasting plant if the right cultivation methods are used.

There are many species, but in most cases the orchid has vertically spreading, oval, fleshy leaves and then several stems with numerous blooming flowers. These are   very small   , while others can be large and showy.

Not only the color changes, but also the shape, in fact they can be differentiated according to the type of mother plant. In most cases they can be grown in pots. The important thing is to take into account the needs of the whole plant.

As we have already mentioned, growing an orchid is not easy and requires careful handling and preparation. In addition, they are very demanding plants and this is the only way to enjoy  beautiful blooms throughout the years.  It is a plant that is placed indoors during the winter months. You choose a place away from the air and with plenty of light but without direct sunlight.  The best place is the bathroom or laundry room, although the living room and bedroom   are no less, but always with other plants nearby.

A single ingredient to increase orchid bloom

If you want to increase the blooming of your orchid and keep it lush all year round, you only need one ingredient. It is a product that we use every day and that is present in every home:   cow’s milk.

Cow’s milk is a waste of protein and calcium, essential for the proper growth and intense flowering of orchids. In addition, its antifungal properties are important to control and   combat plant diseases   .

How to do it?  Put some water in the bottom of the milk bottle and then water the plant generously. It is important that the milk is not used in excess and in its pure form, as it could damage the flower and cause unpleasant odors.

For correct use, always rinse with water and milk alternately. In the case of an orchid, the do-it-yourself method is absolutely not recommended: if you do it, ask   a professional in the sector for advice.
