VANILLA CUPCAKES

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs (at room temperature)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then add vanilla extract.
  5. Add flour mixture in three parts, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Mix until smooth, but do not overmix.
  6. Fill each paper liner with batter until 2/3 full.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  8. Once baked, remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, you can decorate them with vanilla frosting, buttercream frosting, or any other toppings of your choice.
