Pan-fried Cauliflower with Breadcrumbs and Anchovies

Ingredients

    • cauliflower 
    • 4 – 6 anchovy fillets in oil 
    • dried chili pepper 
    • clove of garlic 
    • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs 
    • Extra virgin olive oil to taste
    • Fresh thyme to taste
    • Salt to taste

Instructions

    • Start by cutting the cauliflower into florets and washing it thoroughly.
    • Bring a pot of salted water to the boil and cook the cauliflower for about 5 minutes, until slightly soft.
    • Meanwhile, heat a little extra virgin olive oil in a large pan and fry the garlic and dried chili pepper .

  1. Crispy breadcrumbs and anchovies :
    • Once the garlic has browned, add the anchovies and let them dissolve in the soffritto.
    • Separately, toast the breadcrumbs until golden and crispy. Add to the cauliflower for a crunchy touch.
