Homemade Jam Muffins: The Perfect Recipe for Every Occasion

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a muffin pan with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugars, baking powder and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg and add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, mixing gently until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the muffin cups until half full. Add a teaspoon of jam on each muffin and cover with more batter.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

For a healthier version, you can replace the flour with whole wheat flour and use natural sweeteners.
