INGREDIENT
- 3 eggs
- a pinch of salt
- 12 tablespoons of sugar
- 12 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 12 tablespoons of milk
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Flour (enough to obtain the desired consistency, about 12 tablespoons)
- Baking powder (1-2 teaspoons, optional for leavening)
Directions:
- Start by preheating the oven to 175°C and grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Gradually add the sugar, stirring constantly until the mixture is creamy and light.
- Stir in the vegetable oil, milk, and lemon juice, stirring until well combined.
- Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture, if desired. Stir until smooth. The batter should have a pourable consistency.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve as is, or dust with powdered sugar.
