Ingredients
Potatoes: 600 g, cut into rounds
Water: enough to boil the potatoes
Salt: to taste
Bacon: 400 g, cut into strips
Dried garlic: to taste
Olive oil: for brushing
Skewers or wooden sticks: soak in water for 15 minutes
Instructions
Prepare the potatoes:
Cut the potatoes into evenly sized rounds.
Bring a pot of water to the boil, add a pinch of salt and cook the potatoes for 15 minutes or until slightly tender but not falling apart. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the bacon:
Cut the bacon into strips long enough to wrap around the potato slices.
Assemble the skewers:
Alternate layers of potato slices and bacon strips on the skewers.
Wrap each potato slice in the bacon before threading it onto the skewer. Repeat until all the ingredients are used. Season and bake:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Arrange the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or on a wire rack.
Brush the skewers with olive oil and sprinkle with dried garlic and a pinch of salt.
Bake for 20 minutes or until bacon is crispy and potatoes are golden brown.

Serve warm as an appetizer, side dish, or snack.
