I made the best chicken ever! It came out delicious!

Here is an irresistible recipe to prepare chicken and potatoes in a delicious way!

Ingredients


5 chicken thighs
500g potatoes, cut into medium chunks
1 onion, thinly sliced
​​1 carrot, sliced
​​40g honey
40ml soy sauce
10g chilli sauce (optional, for a spicy touch)
10g mustard
3 garlic cloves, minced
A little vegetable oil
Salt, ground black pepper, and chicken seasoning to taste


Method

Make the marinade
In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, chili sauce, mustard and minced garlic.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place the chicken thighs in the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2 hours in the fridge for a more intense flavour).
Prepare the vegetables
Place the potatoes, onion and carrot in a baking dish lightly greased with vegetable oil.
Season with salt, pepper and a drizzle of oil, tossing to coat evenly.
Assemble the dish
Arrange the marinated chicken thighs on top of the vegetables in the baking dish.
Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken and vegetables for added flavour.
Bake
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for a further 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown and crispy on top.
Serve
Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes. Serve the chicken with potatoes and vegetables piping hot, accompanied with bread or fresh salad for a complete and tasty meal.
