Potatoes in Creamy Garlic Sauce

Creamy Garlic Potatoes

Ingredients:

– 800g potatoes
– 200ml double cream
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 50g butter
– 50g grated parmesan
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

  1. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
  2. Cook the potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes, until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat and add the chopped garlic. Sauté for a couple of minutes.
  4. Add the cream and parmesan, stirring until the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the potatoes to the pan and stir gently so that they are well coated in the sauce.
  6. Cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot..
