Sausage and Peppers

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g of sausage;
  • Half an onion;
  • 1 yellow pepper and 1 red pepper;
  • Water to taste;
  • Half a glass of white wine;
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley to taste;
  • Rosemary to taste;
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste,

STEP

  1. Take a large enough pan, pour in the oil and heat it;
  2. After that we place our sausages and brown them;
  3. While the meat is browning in the pan, let’s clean and cut our vegetables, the onion and slices and the peppers into not too thin strips;
  4. Let’s put them aside;
  5. When the sausage has taken on a nice golden color, add the onion and peppers, cover and cook over a low flame for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally;
  6. If necessary, if we see that the sausage and vegetables are drying out too much, add a little water and mix;
  7. Season with salt and pepper, add the rosemary and finally blend with the glass of white wine and let it evaporate;
  8. Once cooked, sprinkle with plenty of chopped parsley;
  9. Plate up and enjoy this FABULOUS dish while still warm!
