Thanks to one ingredient we can have a very lush and healthy orchid. Here’s what it is.

In our homes, we often tend to  use plants to ensure our living room is not only filled with our evergreen friends but also to  bring joy  and  serenity.

Some of these plants are also important because  they tend to absorb excess moisture,  preventing the formation of condensation and therefore dampness on the walls.

This prevents the formation of mold and the air in which some  plants are located is purified through  the  exchange and presence of our green friends who give us well-being.

In addition, the presence of  flowers  and  plants  on our balcony but also in our rooms supports the insect population, which is important for pollination and environmental health.

If we  keep plants  near or on the balconies, the pollinating insects can rest on them and suck the nectar from the flowers of our plants so that they can then continue their work.

This allows us  to protect the planet and ensure that nature does its work as it should be, and so we too can draw the positives from this gesture for our friends.

Among the most widespread and used plants in the home is the  orchid  , which can be found on the market in all its species and is always a symbol of elegance and beauty, so much so that it is also used in weddings and other celebrations .

However, often some people avoid  buying flowers  and plants because they cannot keep them alive, but there are some simple methods that involve using a few ingredients.

One of them is  that of the gardeners  , who use a single ingredient to keep the orchid robust and strong, allowing for beautiful flowers when they bloom in their season.

What happens next?

The method involves using about 10 drops  of lemon juice  in  200 milliliters of water  . Once the two ingredients have combined, take a makeup remover cotton pad or ball and dip it into the liquid.

Afterwards,  everything must  be passed over the leaves of the orchid, which absorbs the liquid and avoids the formation of dust, which tends to produce strong growth in a very solid bush.

In addition, we can use the liquid  as  fertilizer  , especially if we find orchid plants with visible roots. Just dip half a glass of the mixture.

Over time we will see how the  leaves  and  branches  become more and more green and how the flowers tend to grow and give beautiful colors while avoiding the formation of mold or speckles.

The process must be repeated at least once a week so that our plant can benefit from all the properties of  lemon juice  and no dust or dirt forms on its leaves that could affect the development of the flowers and their persistence.
