“Calzoncelli” with black cherry jam filling

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g 00 flour;
  • 100 ml olive oil;
  • 50 g of sugar;
  • Pinch of salt;
  • Half a glass of white wine;
  • Water to taste;
  • Black cherry jam

STEP

  1. Pour the flour into a bowl, add the sugar, salt and gradually the oil, the wine and knead well, for about 10 minutes, help yourself with water if you see that you need it but not too much:
  2. Make a loaf, cover with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes;
  3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a very thin sheet;
  4. Using a pastry cutter or a glass, make some circles, place a teaspoon of jam on top, close, seal the edges well with your fingers or with a pastry wheel and make some holes in the centre with a fork;
  5. Cook in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes;
  6. Bake, let cool, then choose or dip them in hot vin cotto or simply sprinkle them with lots of icing sugar, they are delicious either way!!
