During the housecleaning, it was a difficult feat to win the famous “silverfish.” These objects represent the wet and dry corners of our home, and for this reason, they are particularly noticeable in the bathroom or near the bookstore.
Silverfish are small, silver-colored insects that move very quickly, are harmless, and reproduce easily. Then we throw them away, because we can always get rid of these insects.
The first trick is to add a little lavender oil to your favorite silverfish. The scent of lavender will envelop the silverfish.
You can also place lavender sachets in every corner of the house. To make the aroma even more intense, add a few drops of essential oil. I’ll take a day to look at more of these boring things.
Another very effective trick is to prepare a proper silverfish trap. I poured some oatmeal into a bowl, but I couldn’t get it out with tape. The starch in the oat leaves attracts insects, which get caught in it and thus enter the bar, but are useless, as they fly onto the glass.
If you discover a nest of silverfish, all you need to do is pour a little ethical alcohol over it to remove it.
If the silverfish have been soaked in moist water, then if possible add some baking soda to a bath of mature butter to absorb some of the moisture.
