Thermosophons are indispensable elements in our homes, they keep it warm and, without the help of inventions, have drastically improved our quality of life.
In general, when we treat “static” elements that tend to accumulate a lot of dust, which reduces their effectiveness and makes them more problematic, we are dealing with allergies or other respiratory diseases.
It is very important to clean the thermostat in the first and last month and we recommend that you do so after that as well.
To clean the exterior of aluminum heaters, simply wipe them with a microfiber cloth. I sprinkled the dust on the surface a second time, moistened it with warm water, a little acetate, and a few drops of soap, and then washed it off the surface. This final step removes mites and spores.
Cleaning the inside of the thermostat is a bit more complicated.
The first step is to remove any accumulated dust from the radiator fin. To do this, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner with a flat nozzle that can reach through the thermostat gap. Insert the nozzle into one end and close the other end to create a “risucchio” effect.
If this method is not applicable, you can try inserting a utensil with a long clamp into the crack and leaving a microfiber cloth there.
Combine warm water with white vinegar, baking soda, and a little soap in a dry bowl. Immunize a plate, making sure to pass it through the gap in the thermostat. Finally, remove any residue and spores with a damp cloth.
