INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lemons
- 3 apples
- 1.5 – 2 liters of water
- Ice cubes (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Wash the lemons and apples thoroughly. Halve the lemons and squeeze out the juice. Core the apples and cut them into small pieces.
- Bring the water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add the lemon halves and apple pieces to the boiling water and simmer for about 10 minutes. This releases the aromas and gives the water a fruity flavor.
Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool.Pour the tonic drink through a fine sieve to remove the lemon and apple pieces.Serve the tonic either warm or let it cool and optionally serve with ice cubes.Enjoy the refreshing lemon-apple tonic and savor it!
Note: This tonic drink is light and delicious. You can enjoy it warm or chilled, depending on your taste. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add some honey or sugar. Feel free to experiment with different variations, for example, by adding mint leaves or ginger to give the drink an extra flavor.
