The Common Spice That Destroys Cancer Cells, Stops Heart Attacks, and Rebuilds Guts

What if there was a common spice that could regenerate intestinal walls to improve digestion, destroy cancer cells, stop a heart attack in its infancy, and prove useful for weight loss? I guess you’d want to know more about it, right?

The spicy fruit of the cayenne plant (‘capsicum annuum’) has been used for centuries as a superb culinary spice and is perhaps the most valuable medicinal plant in the entire plant kingdom for many of the reasons discussed above!

Rich in vitamins A, C, and B complex, calcium, and potassium, cayenne pepper has been shown in studies to rebuild stomach tissue and intestinal peristalsis. Additionally, cayenne pepper acts as a catalyst and increases the effectiveness of other herbs and alternative cancer treatments.

Have you ever eaten a dish with cayenne pepper and then your nose started to run a little? Cayenne pepper warms the body and stimulates the release of mucus from the airways. If you’ve ever eaten fresh chili pepper, you know it clears the sinuses and induces sweating.

Cayenne pepper raises body temperature by stimulating blood circulation to the skin. Herbs that promote perspiration are considered to have a sudorific (sweat-inducing) effect, which helps reduce fever and relieve congestion from colds and sinusitis.

The active ingredient in cayenne pepper is called capsaicin and in 2004, Dr. Sanjav K Srivastava and colleagues (University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine)  treated pancreatic cells with capsaicin . They found that it disrupts mitochondrial function and causes apoptosis (programmed cell death) of cancer cells without affecting normal pancreatic cells!

The study results were published in the April 20, 2005, issue of Innovations Report, in which Dr. Srivastava stated, ”  Our results demonstrate that capsaicin is a potent anticancer agent, induces apoptosis of cancer cells, and causes no significant damage to normal pancreatic cells, indicating its potential use as a novel chemotherapeutic agent for pancreatic cancer.”

In an article published by Reuters on March 16, 2006, titled ”  Cayenne pepper kills prostate cancer cells in study  ,” Dr. Soren Lehmann of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UCLA School of Medicine stated, ”  Capsaicin had a profound antiproliferative effect on cultured prostate cancer cells. It caused 80 percent of the prostate cancer cells to undergo apoptosis, meaning that these cells commit suicide.” Researchers in Japan have also shown that cayenne pepper can dramatically slow the growth of prostate tumors and is an excellent addition to alternative cancer treatment for this type of cancer.

And if cayenne pepper’s anti-cancer abilities weren’t enough, its effects on the venous and cardiac systems are practically miraculous. Cayenne pepper is incredibly nourishing for the heart and has been shown to stop heart attacks in 30 seconds . If you only take one product in your heart attack first aid kit, make it cayenne pepper tincture.

According to Dr. John R. Christopher, ”  In 35 years of practicing, working, and teaching, I have never lost a patient to a heart attack during house calls, and the reason is because everywhere I go (if the person is still breathing), I make them a cayenne pepper drink in a cup of hot water, and within minutes, they are back on their feet and well.”

In addition to being a pleasant accompaniment to meals, there is also evidence to suggest that cayenne pepper may be useful in treating obesity. One trial showed that consuming 10 grams of cayenne pepper with a meal helped reduce appetite, while another study found that cayenne increased dietary fat metabolism. Finally, herbalists in centuries past poured cayenne pepper directly onto fresh wounds to sterilize and stop bleeding.

Many of us (over 90%) have worms or other parasites in our system. A simple way to get rid of them is to take a “cayenne drink” every day. Fill a glass with water or juice, then add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Stir and drink. Yes, it’s a little spicy, but you’ll get used to it.

As you can see, the incredible healing properties of cayenne pepper are simply astounding. Clearly, it’s a “miracle herb” that has been scientifically proven! According to Dr. Richard Schulze, ”  If you only need to learn one herb in your entire life, study and master cayenne pepper. It is more powerful than any other herb.”

Personally, I take cayenne pepper every day as part of my nutritional regimen and cancer prevention treatment. I also keep cayenne tincture at home and in both cars… just in case!

Hopefully, this has given you a good overview of the many amazing medicinal uses of cayenne pepper and that you will put this information to good use. Until next time, stay well.
