Garlic is an essential part of our gastronomy and it is almost impossible to exclude it. Garlic is rich in vitamin E, magnesium and selenium and is one of the foods with the most therapeutic properties.

Few people know that it is possible   to grow garlic at home   and have an almost unlimited supply. Home-grown garlic is also organic and pesticide-free.

To   grow garlic at home,   all you need is a clove of garlic, a pot about 20 centimeters deep and some soil.

After selecting the garlic clove, separate the cloves without removing the peel.

Add the soil to the pot and then plant the garlic cloves, pointy side up, to a depth of about 10 centimeters.

It is ideal to place the vase near a window. Leave the pot in the house until the sprouts appear, then you can also put it on the balcony.

To   harvest garlic,   you must wait for the leaves to dry. Extract the entire plant and dry the bulb in sunlight for a few days.
