Ingredients :
250 grams of butter
5 large eggs
250 grams of icing sugar
250 grams of flour
1/2 sachet of baking powder
50 grams of cocoa powder
Preparation :
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Break the eggs, separating the whites from the yolks.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture becomes white.
Melt the butter over low heat and pour it into the egg and sugar mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon.
Then add, little by little, the sifted flour, the cocoa and the yeast, always mixing.
Beat the egg whites until stiff.
First incorporate 1/3 into the mixture to soften it, then gently add the rest.
Pour the mixture into a silicone cake mold.
Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C.
Cook for about 25 minutes.
Remove the cake from the oven onto a baking sheet.
