Ingredients
- 100 g of oat flakes (gluten-free)
- 2 medium apples , diced
- 100 ml of water
- 1 medium banana , mashed
- 2 eggs (or vegan substitute)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 70 g of almonds (or walnuts)
- 50 g of raisins
- Powdered sweetener (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the oats with the water and let sit for 10 minutes. This step allows the oats to absorb the water, making the dough softer.
- Add the chopped apples, mashed banana and raisins. Mix well to distribute the ingredients.
- Add eggs (or vegan substitute) and baking powder . If you prefer a sweeter taste, add a natural sweetener.
- Finally, chop the almonds and add them to the mixture. Mix until you get a smooth dough.
- Pour the mixture into a pan lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for about 35-40 minutes. The cake will be ready when the surface is golden and compact.
