Soft Braided Brioche

Ingredients

  • 500g of strong flour
  • 80g sugar
  • 100g butter at room temperature
  • 3 large eggs
  • 25g of fresh brewer’s yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 ml of warm milk

Instructions

  • Dissolve the brewer’s yeast in the warm milk and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour , sugar and pinch of salt.
  • Add the dissolved yeast and the eggs, mixing until you obtain a smooth dough.
  • Add the butter in small pieces, continuing to knead for at least 10 minutes.
  • Let it rise for at least 2 hours covered with a damp cloth.
