Pear, Apple and Hazelnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs , 2 pears, 2 apples
  • 250 g of 00 flour , 15 g of baking powder
  • 200 g of granulated sugar , 50 g of melted butter
  • 100 g of milk , 80 g of hazelnuts
  • 1 lemon, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 24cm baking tin.
  2. Beat the eggs with the granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  3. Add the melted butter and milk, mixing gently to incorporate the ingredients.
  4. In another bowl, combine the 00 flour , baking powder and chopped hazelnuts. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  5. Peel and cut the pears and apples into thin slices. Sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent them from oxidizing.
  6. Pour half of the mixture into the pan, add the fruit and cover with the rest of the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar on the surface to get a crunchy crust while baking.
