Ricotta and Apple Tart with Raisins

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tablespoon dried raisins
  • Lemon juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 100 g of ricotta
  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • Brown sugar to taste
  • Powdered sugar to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the fruit and raisins :
    • Soak the raisins in warm water for 10 minutes to soften them.
    • Cut the apple into thin slices and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent oxidation.
  • Prepare the ricotta filling :
    • Mix the ricotta with the sugar and eggs until you get a smooth mixture. This cream will be the heart of the tart.
  • Assemble the tart :
    • Roll out the puff pastry on a baking tray and pour in the ricotta mixture.
    • Add the apple slices and drained raisins on top of the filling.
  • Cooking :
    • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes, until golden and crispy.
