Ingredients
- Apples : 2 (peeled and diced)
- Walnuts : 100 g (chopped)
- Flour : 250 g
- Sugar : 150 g
- Milk : 120 ml
- Butter : 80 g (melted)
- Eggs : 2
- Baking powder : 1 sachet (about 16 g)
- Cinnamon : 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt : a pinch
Instructions
- Prepare the dry ingredients : Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Combine the liquid ingredients : Beat the eggs and add the milk and melted butter.
- Incorporate the apples and walnuts : Add the apple cubes and chopped walnuts to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
- Complete the dough : Pour the liquid ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Distribute the batter : Pour the mixture into the muffin cups and fill each mould about ¾ full.
- Baking : Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
