Ingredients

    • Sweet paprika (optional)  : Adds a hint of spice and color.
  • Tools needed:
    • Baking pan : Large enough to spread the potatoes in a single layer.
    • Sharp knife : For cutting potatoes into uniform pieces.
    • Large bowl : For mixing ingredients.
    • Spatula or wooden spoon : To turn the potatoes during cooking.

Instructions

  • Potatoes: Yellow-fleshed potatoes are ideal for this recipe because of their firm texture and mild flavor. Make sure they are free of sprouts or green spots.
  • Breadcrumbs: For extra crunch, you can use homemade breadcrumbs or panko, a coarser type of Japanese breadcrumbs.
