Jam and Mascarpone Tart

A sweet delight you can’t miss! Perfect for any occasion, this tart combines the crispness of shortcrust pastry with the creaminess of mascarpone and the taste of cherry jam. Here’s how to prepare it!

Ingredients:

2 eggs
100 g sugar
90 ml seed oil
300 g flour
1/2 teaspoon yeast
150 g mascarpone
20 g icing sugar
2 teaspoons milk
150 g cherry jam

Method:

Dough: Mix the eggs with the sugar until you get a frothy mixture. Add the oil and mix well. Incorporate the sifted flour with the yeast, form a loaf and leave it to rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Mascarpone Cream: Mix the mascarpone with the icing sugar and milk until you get a smooth cream.
Composition: Spread the dough in a greased pan, prick the bottom and spread the mascarpone cream. Spread the cherry jam on top.
Decoration: Make strips with the leftover dough and decorate the surface.
Cooking: Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes, until golden.
Tips:
Add lemon zest to the cream for a fresh touch.
Try different jams to vary the flavors!
Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving for a finishing touch.
