Homemade Ferrero Rocher

Ingredients:

๐Ÿช 60 g of ladyfingers (for the crunchy base)
๐Ÿงˆ 70 g of butter (to mix)
๐Ÿซ 100 g of Nutella (for a delicious heart!)
๐ŸŒฐ 15 whole hazelnuts (crunchy and fragrant)
๐Ÿซ 200 g of milk chocolate (for an irresistible coating)
๐ŸŒฐ 100 g of chopped hazelnuts (for the final crunchiness)


Step by step preparation:


1๏ธโƒฃ Prepare the base:
Finely chop the ladyfingers ๐Ÿช until you obtain a fine powder.
Add the melted butter ๐Ÿงˆ and mix well until you obtain a smooth mixture.
Put in the fridge for 10 minutes to let it cool a little โ„๏ธ.
2๏ธโƒฃ Shape the domes:
Fill some semi-spherical molds with the mixture, using a teaspoon. Press well with your fingers to compact.
Place in the fridge for 20 minutes to solidify ๐Ÿ”’.
3๏ธโƒฃ Fill with Nutella:
Use a piping bag to fill the domes with Nutella ๐Ÿซ.
Insert a whole hazelnut ๐ŸŒฐ in the center of half of the domes (for an even more delicious heart!).
4๏ธโƒฃ Close the Ferrero Rocher:
Join two semi-spheres to form perfect balls. Place them in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to solidify ๐ŸงŠ.
5๏ธโƒฃ Cover with chocolate:
Chop the milk chocolate ๐Ÿซ and melt it in a bain-marie ๐Ÿฒ.
Add the chopped hazelnuts ๐ŸŒฐ to the melted chocolate and mix well to obtain a crunchy coating.
6๏ธโƒฃ Final glazing:
Dip each ball into the chocolate with the chopped hazelnuts ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŒฐ, covering them completely.
Place the Ferrero Rocher on baking paper ๐Ÿงป and let them cool in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Storage:
Store your Ferrero Rocher in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days ๐Ÿฌ.
Once solidified, in winter they can be stored at room temperature โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒก๏ธ.
โœจ Tip: If you want to make them even more special, add a pinch of vanilla or coffee to the melted chocolate for a unique touch!
