A simple and delicious dessert that’s perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings without the guilt!
Ingredients:
1kg apples, peeled and chopped (about 7-8 medium apples)
Water (enough to cover the apples)
300g chopped chocolate (about 2 cups chocolate chips)
Directions:
- Prepare the apples:
Peel and chop the apples. Place the pieces in a saucepan and fill with enough water to cover them. - Cook the apples:
Bring the saucepan to a boil over medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes, until the apples are soft. - Blend the apples:
Drain the cooked apples and pass them through a sieve to remove any excess water. Then, transfer them to a blender and blend until smooth. - Melt the chocolate:
Chop the chocolate and melt it in the microwave in 20-second increments, stirring occasionally until smooth. - Mix and chill:
Combine the applesauce with the melted chocolate, stirring until smooth. Grease a mold with a little oil, pour the mixture and let it chill in the refrigerator for a few hours, until it has solidified.
Serving suggestions:
Serve cold, garnished with chopped nuts or fresh berries for extra flavor and presentation!
