Ricotta and Peanut Chocolates

Ingredients

  • 200g fresh ricotta
  • 100g salted peanuts
  • 300g dark chocolate

Instructions

  • Preparation of ingredients : Start by draining the fresh ricotta well to eliminate the excess liquid. This step is essential to obtain the right consistency of your chocolates. In the meantime, roughly chop the salted peanuts in a blender or with a sharp knife.
  • Melting Chocolate : Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. It is important not to overheat the chocolate, otherwise it will lose its shine and consistency, ensuring that your chocolates come out shiny and perfect.
  • Assemble the chocolates : Once the chocolate is melted, mix together the ricotta and chopped peanuts . Form small balls and dip them in the melted chocolate. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let cool.
  • Cooling and Serving : Leave the ricotta and peanut chocolates in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. This allows the chocolate to harden completely and the filling to compact perfectly.

Notes

These delicious chocolates are also perfect as a homemade gift, especially for special occasions. You can also prepare them in advance and store them in the fridge for a few days.
