200 g of stringy cheese, scamorza, mozzarella (I used Galbanino);
Grated cheese to taste;
200 g of cooked ham without polyphosphates;
Extra virgin olive oil;
Salt;
Pepper;
Clay shard
STEP
Wash, trim and cut the courgettes into thin slices widthwise;
Pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil into the clay pot, arrange a first layer of courgettes, place thin slices of stringy cheese, slices of cooked ham, salt, pepper, grated cheese and season with a drizzle of oil;
Cover everything with another layer of courgettes;
Proceed in layers until you run out of ingredients;
Finish with a layer of stringy cheese slices, grated cheese and a little more oil;
Cover the pot with a sheet of aluminum foil;
Cook in the oven (preheated to 200 degrees) for about 1 hour, remove the aluminum foil and brown in the last 10 minutes;
Let it rest for a few minutes before serving;
Enjoy the white zucchini parmigiana in the crock hot or warm… it’s truly fantastic!!
