INGREDIENTS
- 2 rolls of puff pastry (rectangular);
- 3 courgettes;
- cooked ham to taste;
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil;
- 2 tablespoons grated cheese;
- Sliced cheese (I use Galbani) to taste;
- Salt and pepper
STEP
- Trim and wash the courgettes;
- Grate with a mandolin;
- After that season with salt, pepper, oil and mix to combine everything well;
- Unroll the first roll of puff pastry, then arrange the zucchini mixture, leveling it well. Sprinkle with grated cheese;
- Place the slices of cooked ham;
- Add the galbanum slices;
- Now close with the second roll of puff pastry, seal well first with your fingers and then with the pastry wheel;
- Place the puff pastry on a baking tray, keeping the baking paper underneath the puff pastry itself;
- Now we cut six strips horizontally and 5 vertically, remember not to separate the squares otherwise they will lose their shape during cooking;
- Brush with egg yolk and a drop of milk and bake at 190 degrees (oven already at temperature) for about 25-30 minutes until golden;
- Take our Sfogliatine out of the oven and separate them very delicately;
- Place on a nice serving dish and enjoy!
- They are AMAZING both hot and cold!
