INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g of 00 flour;
  • 150 ml of extra virgin olive oil;
  • 120 g of granulated sugar;
  • White wine to taste for kneading;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • Extra virgin oil for frying;
  • Honey;
  • Colored sprinkles

STEP

  1. Pour the flour onto a pastry board, make a hole in the center, add the sugar, salt, oil, wine and knead for about 10 minutes (check the consistency of the dough, add as much wine as needed to make the mixture smooth and lump-free, nice and compact but not hard);
  2. Now separate some pieces from the dough, form cylinders and cut small cubes of about 1 cm, round them with the palms of your hands;
  3. Meanwhile, let’s bring the oil to temperature (be sure to use plenty);
  4. After that, fry the “Porcelli” that we made, browning them well but not too dark;
  5. Drain them on a plate lined with absorbent paper;
  6. Now we transfer the “Porcelli” onto a nice tray, and with a spoon we let the honey drip and insert the colored sprinkles;
