Fried “Friggitelli” Peppers

INGREDIENTS

  • 600 g of green Friggitelli peppers;
  • 200 ml of extra virgin olive oil;
  • Add salt to taste;
  • 1 clove of garlic

STEP

  1. Wash and dry the peppers with a cloth;
  2. Take a pan, pour in the oil, the garlic clove and fry;
  3. Once the oil has reached temperature, place the peppers and cover with the lid immediately, stirring often with a spoon;
  4. After about 10 minutes of cooking, add salt and close the lid;
  5. They will be cooked when they deflate and the skin will start to peel off in some places and they will have a slightly darker color;
  6. Using a slotted spoon, remove our peppers and place them on a serving plate;
  7. Drizzle the peppers with frying oil and enjoy. Excellent on a simple piece of bread or to add more flavor to meat and vegetables…
