Lemon on the plant

Lemon is a   citrus fruit   with incredibly beneficial properties. In fact, it is a natural source of   potassium   and vitamin   C.   Lemon’s anti-inflammatory properties are really crazy. The same applies to its diuretic and antioxidant properties.

This citrus fruit also promotes digestion and is a valuable ally of many of our vital organs, such as the liver. Many people prefer   to grow one or more lemon plants   in pots or in their garden.

It is important to water the lemon plant abundantly, especially in the hottest months of the year. In addition, it should not be too exposed to wind or particularly dry weather. Some gardening experts can recommend the exact location to grow this valuable citrus plant.

Lemon seedling, the peeled seed method: here is the incredible result

First,   we take a ripe lemon and cut it exactly in half   with the help of a knife     . Each half of the citrus fruit must then be squeezed by hand using a citrus press. At this point the seeds separate from the lemon juice. When we create a new lemon plant,   the elements that interest us will be the seeds   .

To pull off this incredible trick, all you have to do is   take one of these seeds   and   remove the outer skin   . You can use regular tweezers, such as those that we use to remove excess hair from our body or eyebrows.

Once you have removed the outer skin of one or more seeds, please follow the exact procedure to   germinate your lemon plant within 30 days  . You need to take a small clear plastic box with a lid and put a napkin on the bottom.

Then on the napkin in the box put the previously peeled seeds. Once this is done, you need to sprinkle some water on the seeds and cover everything with another napkin. You sprinkle some more water over it and close the container with the seeds in it with a lid. At the top you must then note the date on which you did all this.

What do you have to do now   ? Below is the complete procedure to obtain a lemon plant using the peeled seed technique.

All steps must be followed carefully.

This small box is placed in a very bright interior area of your home. It is important that   the box is never left in the sun for a long period of time   or is in any case exposed to direct contact with the sun’s rays. The seeds could actually burn.

After 15 days   , you will notice that the seeds have developed a   hint of roots  , a clear sign that the process is bearing fruit. At this point you can   sow each seed   in a pot with the roots. Each seed corresponds to a vase. In the vase we need to put fairly acidic soil – with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5 – and actually put our seeds.

It is necessary to create a small space in the center of the soil and place the seed with the roots down at a   depth of about 1 centimeter . Once the seeds are planted in and covered by the soil, irrigation is required. To do this, use a spray bottle to avoid dangerous water stagnation.

It didn’t end there. Get a   plastic bag  of food, place the jar in it and seal it tightly. Even in the following days, the sun’s rays should not fall directly on the vase. When a total of 30 days have passed, we will notice how our lemon plants begin to emerge from the ground.

Using the peeled seed technique, we created one (or more) lemon plants. After a few months   our plant reaches a height of a few centimeters   . It is advisable to keep the plant in a bright place, but not in contact with the sun, for at least a year. It is important to water constantly.

At the age of   one year   the plant can   be placed directly in the ground  . Finally, the plant can   be grafted at two years of age   , allowing it to produce lemons over time.
