Bladder cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, but also one of the most difficult to detect early. Called a “silent killer,” the disease can progress without visible signs before reaching an advanced stage.
Here are 10 symptoms that should alert you and prompt you to see a doctor/
1- Blood in the urine (hematuria)

The most common symptom of bladder cancer is blood in the urine. This can include:
Visible to the naked eye (red or pink urine).
Detected only by a urine test (microscopic hematuria).
Although this sign can also be caused by a urinary tract infection or kidney stones, it should never be ignored.
2- Pain or burning when urinating

A burning or painful sensation when urinating may indicate bladder irritation.
If these pains persist despite treatment of a urinary tract infection, a visit to the doctor is essential.
3- Increased urination frequency and urge

If you suddenly notice:
Frequent urge to urinate, even at night.
The feeling of a constantly full bladder.
Unexplained urine loss.
This may be due to a tumor irritating the bladder wall.
