Ingredients:
- 8 chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml of milk
- 200g of flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
- Seed oil for frying
Step by step:
- Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk. Dip the chicken pieces in the mixture and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (preferably 1-2 hours).
- Prepare the spice mix: In another bowl, mix the flour with the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt.
- Breading the Chicken: Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and drain lightly. Dredge them in the flour and spice mixture, making sure they are well coated on all sides.
- Repeat for extra crispiness: For an even crispier crust, you can dip the chicken pieces in the marinade again and then in the flour and spices again.
- Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken pieces for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside.
- Drain and Serve: Drain the fried chicken on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite sauces!
