Easy Chocolate Chip Madeleine Recipe: You Will Never Buy Them Again!

Light and quite spongy sweets, to try! A traditional French recipe easy to make at home!

INGREDIENTS

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 150 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 5-6 drops of almond flavoring
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 50 g of chocolate chips

METHOD


Melt the butter in a saucepan and leave to cool slightly. Beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
until combined, add the flour with the baking powder, mix. Add the butter, milk, almond essence and grated lemon zest. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Grease the pan. Add the mixture to the tin. Add the chocolate chips to the remaining mixture and refrigerate. Bake at 220°C/430°F for 4 minutes, reduce to 180°C/350°F and continue baking for a further 5-6 minutes, until the shells are golden. Remove from the oven, remove immediately from the tin and leave to cool.
Fill the mixture with the chocolate chips and re-bake.
