Melt-in-your-mouth Angel Cake!

By carefully following the steps, you will be able to create a perfect dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 100 g sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  • Beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar, gradually adding the sugar until you obtain a glossy meringue.
  • Gently incorporate the sifted flour with movements from the bottom up.
  • Add the vanilla extract and pour the mixture into a greased mold.
  • Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the cake is golden brown on top.

Notes

To obtain a perfectly cooked  Angel Cake , it is important not to open the oven during the first 30 minutes.
