Greek Yogurt Cake

Ingredients

  • 250 g of natural Greek yogurt
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g of flour
  • 80 ml of seed oil
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • Grated zest of a lemon (optional)

Instructions

  • Dough preparation:
    Start by whipping the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and frothy. Add the Greek yogurt and mix well. Next, add the sifted flour with the yeast, mixing gently.
  • Add the oil and lemon:
    Pour in the seed oil while continuing to mix, and if you like, add the lemon zest for a touch of freshness.
  • Baking:
    Pour the mixture into a greased and floured pan, then bake at 180°C for about 35-40 minutes. Test with a toothpick to check if it is cooked.
