  • 120 g of walnuts
  • 120 g of peeled almonds
  • 100 g of granulated sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla (or the grated peel of 1 lemon or 1 orange )
  • Icing sugar to taste (for decoration)

Instructions

Quick and Easy Method
Start by preheating the oven to 180°C and lining a baking tray with baking paper. In a large bowl, beat the egg with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the vanilla or grated lemon/orange zest to give your cookies an irresistible aroma. Add the chopped walnuts and blanched almonds. Mix well to distribute the ingredients evenly in the dough.

Shaping and Baking
Use a spoon to scoop out small portions of dough and place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Bake the walnut and almond cookies for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. When they are done, let them cool slightly before dusting them with powdered sugar for a sweet and crunchy finishing touch.
