Ingredients (for a 22 cm cake):

3 eggs 🥚
125 g butter 🧈
125 g sugar 🍬
125 g dark chocolate (70%) 🍫
185 g almond flour 🌰
1 tablespoon rum 🍹
Zest of half an orange (untreated) 🍊
Icing sugar for decorating ❄️
A knob of butter and a little bitter cocoa for the pan 🍫

Method:

Preparation of ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Butter and sprinkle with bitter cocoa a 22 cm pan. 🥄
Melt the chocolate and butter:
Melt the dark chocolate with the butter in a bain-marie or in the microwave, stirring until smooth and creamy. 🍫✨
Beat the eggs and sugar:
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy. 🍳
Add the other ingredients:
Incorporate the almond flour into the egg and sugar mixture. Add the melted chocolate and butter, rum and grated orange zest, stirring gently until smooth. 🍊🌟
Pour the mixture into the pan:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and level the surface with a spatula. 🍰

Baking:

Bake the cake at 180°C for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out dry. ⏰
