  • 200g cream cheese
  • 180 g sugar

  • 100 g of type 00 flour (for the gluten-free version use the same quantity of rice flour)
  • 40 g corn starch
  • 80 ml of sunflower oil
  • 1 sachet of baking powder ( 16 g )
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • qs icing sugar (for garnish)

  • Ingredients:
    • 200g cream cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a buttered and floured cake tin.
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the lemon juice, zest and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the cheese mixture and mix gently. Pour in the sunflower oil and mix until the dough is smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the surface. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely and sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
