Chocolate Salami: Quick and Easy Recipe

A delicious dessert that will conquer everyone! Here’s how to prepare it in a few steps.

Ingredients:

300 g of dry biscuits (such as Oro Saiwa)
150 g of butter
200 g of dark chocolate
2 eggs
100 g of sugar
Icing sugar to taste

Preparation times:
Preparation: 30 minutes
Cooking: 5 minutes (just to melt the chocolate)
Rest: 4 hours in the refrigerator
Doses: For about 10 people

Method:

Crumbling the biscuits: Crumble the biscuits by hand, leaving some larger pieces for a crunchy touch.
Melting the chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie and whip the soft butter until creamy.
Prepare the dough: Add the sugar to the butter, then the eggs, mixing until you get a smooth cream. Add the warm melted chocolate and mix well.
Add the biscuits: Add the crushed biscuits to the mixture and mix.
Form the salami: Pour the mixture onto baking paper, shaping it into a cylinder. Roll it up well and seal with aluminium foil.
Cool: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, until it is well hardened.
Serve: Roll the salami in powdered sugar and serve it in slices.

Tips and Variations:
You can enrich it with chopped hazelnuts or dried fruit! For an egg-free version, there are alternatives that maintain the same delicious flavour. It is also a great way to recycle leftover biscuits or chocolate.
