Ingredients
- 500 g of 00 flour
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 g of butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Grated zest of a lemon (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and, if you want a little extra flavor, lemon zest.
- Gradually incorporate the sifted flour and yeast. Mix until the dough is soft but not sticky. If the dough is too hard, you can add a little milk.
- Shape the dough into balls, place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and flatten them slightly.
- Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes, until they are golden on the surface.

These soft and fragrant biscuits for dipping can be stored perfectly for several days in an airtight container, maintaining their fragrance and softness.
For an interesting variation, you can also replace the vanilla extract with almond extract. This change adds a new flavor to your soft cookies .
