Hazelnut Chocolates

Ingredients

    • 200g of chocolate hazelnut wafers
    • 2 – 3 tablespoons of spreadable cream (Nutella)
    • 16 whole hazelnuts
    • A little extra spreadable cream for the filling
    • For the icing:
      • 150g milk chocolate
      • 2 tablespoons of neutral oil
      • 50 g of chopped and toasted hazelnuts or almonds

Instructions

  • Crumble the wafers in a bowl until they have a sand-like consistency.
  • Add the Nutella and mix until a smooth mixture forms.
  • Form balls with the dough, placing a whole hazelnut in the center of each one .
  • Place the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the milk chocolate in a bain-marie, adding the oil for a smoother and shinier consistency.
  • Dip each ball in melted chocolate and sprinkle with chopped toasted hazelnuts .
