Breaded Swordfish Sicilian Style

If you are looking for a light and tasty second course, this breaded swordfish with a crunchy lemon and parsley coating is perfect!

Ingredients (for 4 people):

4 slices of swordfish (about 600g)
100g breadcrumbs
1 clove of garlic
Grated zest of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Chopped parsley to taste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Instructions:

Prepare the breading: In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with the finely chopped garlic, lemon zest, chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine the flavors.
Bread the swordfish: Pass the swordfish slices in the breading, pressing well on both sides so that it adheres perfectly.
Cook the swordfish: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the swordfish slices for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
Serve: Remove the fish from the pan and serve hot, accompanied by lemon slices and a sprinkling of fresh parsley.
