Healthy Cake Without Sugar and Flour

Ingredients

  • ripe bananas   (the riper they are, the sweeter the cake will be)
  • eggs 
  • 2 tablespoons of bitter cocoa powder 
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 
  • Chopped walnuts (or other dried fruit of your choice)
  • A pinch of vanilla (optional)

Instructions

  • Preparing the bananas : Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  • Adding the eggs : Add the eggs to the banana puree and mix well until smooth.
  • Adding the dry ingredients : Sift the unsweetened cocoa powder and baking powder, then add them to the mixture, mixing carefully to avoid lumps.
  • Adding the walnuts : Add the chopped walnuts and, if desired, a pinch of vanilla for extra flavor.
  • Preparing the mold : Line a baking tray with baking paper or grease it lightly with oil.
  • Baking : Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes. To check if it is cooked, insert a toothpick into the center of the cake: if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
