Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas (the riper they are, the sweeter the cake will be)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of bitter cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Chopped walnuts (or other dried fruit of your choice)
- A pinch of vanilla (optional)
Instructions
- Preparing the bananas : Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- Adding the eggs : Add the eggs to the banana puree and mix well until smooth.
- Adding the dry ingredients : Sift the unsweetened cocoa powder and baking powder, then add them to the mixture, mixing carefully to avoid lumps.
- Adding the walnuts : Add the chopped walnuts and, if desired, a pinch of vanilla for extra flavor.
- Preparing the mold : Line a baking tray with baking paper or grease it lightly with oil.
- Baking : Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes. To check if it is cooked, insert a toothpick into the center of the cake: if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
