Ingredients
- 520g potatoes (about 4 medium)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 50g skinless sausage
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or dill)
- 80 g corn starch
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Boil potatoes : Cook the potatoes with their skins in salted water until they are soft. Peel and mash them while still warm in a large bowl.
- Combine ingredients : Add crumbled sausage, Parmesan, parsley and salt. Mix well until smooth.
- Incorporate the cornstarch : Add the starch a little at a time to give it consistency.
- Form the meatballs : Take small portions of dough, shaping them with damp hands to obtain uniform balls.
- Frying : Heat the oil and fry the meatballs until golden brown, turning often.
